- Era: Given the setting style, the construction techniques of the mounting, and the stone faceting and proportions, we estimate that the ring is believed to date to the 20th century. However, this style has been common since at least the 1950s, so without knowing an exact provenance, we cannot ascertain a more precise date range beyond what our years of collecting, dealing, learning and refining our expertise enables us to determine.
- Buyer Notes: Please be sure to read the description for specific details about the diamonds present, as they exhibit the organic carbon freckles that form during the formation process over millions of years. These are not readily visible to the eye, but may be viewed best under a jeweler’s loupe. These characteristics are captivating hallmarks of earth-mined diamonds, designating each of the 20 diamonds virtually one of a kind in the universe and across time. These diamonds are mounted within a channel shank, the edges of which show some unevenness that is to be expected of outer edges of vintage and antique pieces. However, any commensurate wear is neither perceptible nor diminishing of the incredible beauty of this glorious vintage number. This ring is hefty, with excellent weight and sparkle, and makes a perfect solo band, a bold wedding band and a chic alternative to the traditional engagement ring.

The Story:
An insanely sparkly showpiece, this vintage band is in the eternity style featuring chunky brilliant diamonds all the way around the shank. Each one of the twenty diamonds varies ever so slightly in hue, from near colorless (H) to warmer undertones and very pale champagne (I, J). The stones harmonize in a dazzling display of warmth, flashing rainbows with every turn.
Most notably, these uniquely colored diamonds also share the distinct characteristic of carbon speckling throughout. These carbon flecks are very delicate, unnoticeable to the naked eye until viewed under magnification, as photographed. Yet, these organic freckles add dimensionality to the stones, distinguishing the ring from the sea of other vintage diamond bands on the market. Indeed, these diamonds are wholly one of a kind, their natural inclusions Mother Nature’s fingerprint upon each one. Even with their presence, the diamonds beam and add excitement to any stack, and is equally striking when worn alone.
